Profile

Blue debuted in 2006 — the same season the Colts won Super Bowl XLI — and has been a good luck charm ever since. He is the second NFL mascot inducted into the Mascot Hall of Fame (after K.C. Wolf) and is one of the most decorated mascots in the game today. His skit videos regularly go viral, and his TikTok following rivals many celebrity accounts.

Fun Facts

  • Blue debuted in the first game of the 2006 regular season, and the Colts went on to win Super Bowl XLI that year — making him arguably the luckiest debut in NFL mascot history.
  • Blue was voted the inaugural NFL Mascot of the Year in 2016 by a vote of all 32 NFL mascots, then won again in 2019, 2023, and 2025 — four times total and counting.
  • A single performer, Trey Mock, has been the sole person behind Blue since his debut, planning and executing every skit himself — a one-man show that earned him three consecutive Skit of the Year awards (2017, 2018, 2019).
